On the next 3 Sundays Romiley Remembers are hosting guided walks based on their book ‘In the Footsteps of the Fallen’.
Each walk is an abridged form of the WW1 trails around Woodley, Romiley and Bredbury, with tales about some of our fallen and what life was like here a century ago.
Each walk will take approximately 2 – 21/2 hours and will be around 2 – 3 miles in length.
The walks are free of charge, with donations to The Poppy Appeal.
Our book will also be on sale, price £10 (proceeds to The Poppy Appeal.)

Each walk starts at 2pm

Sunday June 21st   Woodley Walk   Meet at the Startpoint Cafe, Woodley Precinct

Sunday June 28th   Romiley Walk   Meet at The Friendship Inn, Stockport Road

Sunday July 5th     Bredbury Walk    Meet at The Hub (Highfield Community Centre) Bents Ave.
